The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense shot down another drone on approach to Moscow. This was announced on July 3 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"One drone flying to Moscow was destroyed," Sobyanin wrote on the Maks messenger.

Thus, the number of downed UAVs on approach to the capital reached 25. According to the mayor, emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 188 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia from 8:00 to 20:00 Moscow time.
