Miroshnik said about 204 injured children during the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia in three months

In the period from April to June 2026, a total of 204 minors were injured by the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of Russia, 21 of them died. This was announced on July 3 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik.

"The past three months have brought another terrible record for the number of victims among children and teenagers. During this period, 204 innocent children suffered, 21 of whom will never reach adulthood," he said during his briefing.

The above statistics were collected from April 1 to June 30. Miroshnik noted that this figure is the highest in the last two years. In total, he said, since 2022, at least 1,336 children have been injured by the actions of Ukrainian militants in Russia, 264 of whom have died.

The Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that since 2014, the number of children injured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reached 2,218, of whom 373 have died. He stressed that the corresponding pendulum does not stop, as the militants continue to carry out various crimes on the territory of Russia.

"Kiev, together with its European sponsors, is striving to prove that terror against civilians and war crimes are the norm. <...> In fact, by crossing out the basic norms and principles of international humanitarian law. Responsibility for the crimes committed is inevitable. And Kiev will get it in full," Miroshnik summed up.
