PSB has identified the winners of the retail business startup competition

PSB Bank summed up the results of the first startup competition and identified companies offering the most promising technological solutions for the joint development of new products and services for retail customers.

According to the bank's press service, three startups became finalists of the project. The first of them is Parswise, which is a personal AI consultant that integrates into front—end applications. The program builds a knowledge base about products and answers user questions. The second is notCard, a digital business card based on NFC and QR code, which provides one—click contact exchange, lead collection and the formation of individual offers. Another finalist is the Unadesk system, designed to manage digital experiences in order to automate the creation of training materials, instructions, and simulators.

In total, 97 applications were submitted to the competition, and nine projects reached the finals. As noted in the PSB, all participants have ready-made MVP solutions that can be integrated into banking processes in a few months and fully adapted to the Russian market.

During the competition, experts evaluated projects based on three criteria: measurable business impact, the number of successful implementations, and compliance with banking IT and security standards.

"The competition confirmed the high potential of the bank's cooperation with technology startups for the development of retail business. It is important for us that innovations become a part of daily work and life — understandable, simple and accessible to every client and employee," said Olga Myamlina, Deputy Chairman of the PSB and one of the members of the expert committee of the competition. According to her, the initiative, which was launched in January, allows moving "from abstract ideas to concrete projects," and also "makes the rules of interaction with the bank more transparent to external participants and at the same time creates an atmosphere of openness within the team."
