Over the past ten years, the number of accidents caused by Mosgortrans drivers has halved, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.

"We are constantly improving the ground transportation of the capital. For its high achievements in the field of safety and efficiency of transportation, Rostransnadzor has awarded Mosgortrans a reputation status, indicating conscientious compliance with mandatory requirements. We were the first to receive it in the Central Federal District. We continue to improve the quality of passenger service, as instructed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," Liksutov said.

According to him, to improve the safety of travel, Mosgortrans regularly updates its rolling stock. Under the contracts of 2025, more than 900 modern Russian buses and electric buses were delivered to the company's fleets. All cars undergo a mandatory pre-trip technical inspection. Automatic fire extinguishing systems, video surveillance, audio and video information systems are installed in buses and electric buses. There is also a travel lock with the doors open.

In addition, constant monitoring of the work of drivers is ensured. The situation center monitors traffic on all routes and responds promptly to emergency situations. Accelerometers monitor the smoothness of movement and driving quality in real time, and special systems installed in drivers' cabins monitor their physical condition and concentration levels.

Today, Mosgortrans operates about 750 ground transportation routes. Almost 3 thousand Russian-made electric buses run on 290 of them. According to Deptrans, by replacing buses with electric buses in 2025, it was possible to prevent the release of about 380 tons of pollutants into the atmosphere.
