Sergunina spoke about the contribution of the users of the "City of Ideas" to the development of the capital

Moscow has already implemented 10,000 suggestions from users of the City of Ideas platform, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Now the platform unites almost 680 thousand citizens. Residents are sharing ideas on filling seasonal event programs, landscaping parks and courtyards, and developing the capital's libraries and digital services," Sergunina said.

For example, new playgrounds and sports grounds, gazebos and picnic areas are being created in the capital's parks on the initiative of Muscovites. The cultural poster is also being updated — more events of various formats are organized for visitors: concerts, fairs, creative activities, outdoor training.

In addition, residents of the capital actively participate in the thematic projects of the "City of Ideas". Recently, 31,000 people joined the discussion on improving the business environment. Among the initiatives are the creation of an online platform for finding business premises and potential partners, the launch of a series of interviews with experts and residents of the capital's technoparks, the expansion of the Academy of Innovators' educational programs and the introduction of a virtual grant selection assistant on the Moscow Innovation Cluster platform.

As part of the Libraries of the Future project, the citizens proposed installing media screens in the reading rooms with announcements of upcoming events and devices for automatic book delivery, and placing collections of popular publications on their online platforms.

The City of Ideas platform has been operating since 2014. Residents of Moscow can send their suggestions in 17 key areas: from transport and healthcare to culture and entrepreneurship. The project is being developed by the State Institution "New Management Technologies" and the Moscow Department of Information Technology.
