Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev has decided to award employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate who showed courage and dedication in rescuing people. This was announced on July 3 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.

"The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, General of Police of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev, has decided to award employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate who distinguished themselves in the performance of their official duties. They rescued people and their pets from burning houses in the Republic of Adygea and the Belgorod region," said Volk.

It is noted that in Maikop, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea, police captains Stanislav Krasnov and Aslan Damokov, noticed a burning private house after duty. At the scene, they saw a woman who asked for help — her two minor children were still inside, and she was holding a disabled girl in her arms. The police called emergency services, evacuated all the people in the house and, together with the neighbors, began to extinguish the fire. It is noted that the fire was extinguished before the arrival of fire crews.

"There was a fire. I was alone at home with the kids, my husband was absent. It was very scary when everyone saw it, when it all happened <...> fortunately, traffic police officers Aslan and Stanislav drove by. <...> They carried the children out in their arms, helped put out [the fire], helped save our house so that our house would remain intact, and a large family would not be left on the street. I want to express my great gratitude to them," the woman said.

In the Belgorod region, employees of a separate traffic police company noticed a fire during a patrol in the village of Belovskoye — a private household was burning, and the fire spread to neighboring buildings. The traffic police transmitted the information to the duty station, began evacuating residents from the burning and neighboring houses, and shut off the gas valves. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Belgorodsky", the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and an ambulance arrived at the scene. It is noted that the door was opened, behind which a man was found unconscious — he was taken to an ambulance. In total, ten people, two pets and five cars were evacuated from the fire zone.

In addition, in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan, Senior police Lieutenant Alexey Sabirov and Junior Lieutenant Maxim Dayanov heard a bang from Mira Avenue and went to the scene. Sabirov entered the burning building and began evacuating residents, clearing the rubble, and was joined by Lieutenant Ilgiz Shamsutdinov, who was returning from the night shift. At that time, Dayanov coordinated the evacuation at the entrance. Seven adults and one child were rescued from an apartment building. Gorenje Sabirov suffered acute poisoning from combustion products and was hospitalized.

In Khabarovsk, passers-by rescued a baby who was locked in a car by his mother and left in the heat, Gleb Kanzerev, who managed to pull the boy out of the cabin, told Izvestia on July 1. It is noted that at first Kanzerev tried to break the glass with a fragment of paving slabs, but the ambulance staff who arrived at the scene explained that the fragments could touch the baby. After several attempts, the man and the locals managed to safely open the car.
