During his official visit to Jakarta, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko presented his Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto with a pen, which he signed in the book of honored guests. This was reported on July 2 by the detikNews portal.

"President Lukashenko signed the book of credentials in the hall. Then Lukashenko spontaneously presented Prabowo with a pen, which he used," the text of the publication says.

The state reception ceremony was held at the Merdeka Palace. It is noted that Subianto was surprised, but then smiled and hid the gift in the inside pocket of his jacket. It is specified that the pen was gold in color with a black stripe. After the ceremony, the leaders of the two countries held a one-on-one meeting, after which negotiations began with the participation of delegations.

Lukashenko's official visit to Indonesia was announced on July 1 by the Telegram channel Pool One. It was noted that the main focus will be on the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as humanitarian ties between the countries.
