"Grandfather Fomich", 12+
Directors: Garik Petrosyan, Grigory Sukhov. Starring: Nikolai Dobrynin, Nikita Kologrivy, Andrey Merzlikin, Gleb Kalyuzhny, Ekaterina Volkova, Anya Pokrov

Russian cinema continues to explore the territory of family comedy, but "Grandfather Fomich" does not try to speak only in the language of humor, he also raises the topic of accumulated grievances. At the center of the story is an elderly Fomich, who has been unable to find a common language with his children and grandchildren for years. Desperate to bring his family back, he embarks on a dubious adventure: he announces to his relatives that he is terminally ill. The plan works — everyone gathers under one roof, but instead of a sentimental reconciliation, the meeting gives rise to old conflicts that have been brewing for decades.
The film has a double time perspective. The young Fomich is played by Nikita Kologrivy, the modern one is played by Nikolai Dobrynin. This technique allows us to show how the actions of the past continue to influence the present and that family conflicts rarely arise from scratch. Behind the comedic situations, a story gradually emerges about an attempt to regain lost trust — albeit in a very eccentric way.
"The Illusion of murder", 18+
Directed by Jacob Santana. Starring: Jaime Lorente, Manuel Vega, Belen Rueda, Fernardo Cayo, Eva Llorach

The Spanish psychological thriller about paranoia is a remake of the South Korean film "Nights of Memories". In the center of the plot is the mentally unstable Mario, whose role went to the star of "Paper House" Jaime Lorente. The hero takes powerful drugs to maintain mental health. After moving with his family to a new home, he witnesses the abduction of David's older brother. After 19 days, David returns home, but Mario stops recognizing him as a loved one because of his strange behavior. Trying to figure out what is happening, the hero goes on the trail of an unsolved murder committed several years ago.
The tension in the film is based on a constant game with the viewer's perception: plot twists make one doubt who is the victim and who is the criminal. The gloomy visual atmosphere with rainy landscapes emphasizes the feeling of hopelessness, and the scenes, painted in warm sepia tones, refer to the past, where, it seems, there was still a place for hope.
Flight 298, 18+
Directed by Stephen Quayle. Starring: Tom Brittney, Georgina Leonidas, Veronica Rosati, Henneki Talbot, Molly Wright

The director of the fantastic thriller was Steven Quayle, known for the films "Destination 5" and "Aliens from the Abyss." This time it combines two popular genre phobias at once — aerophobia and fear of the extraterrestrial. The action takes place almost entirely on board a passenger plane, which suddenly finds itself cut off from familiar reality.
Among the casual fellow travelers are a mother with a ten—year-old daughter, a self-confident business class passenger, and a blogger who is used to looking at what is happening through a camera lens. The charismatic Jeremy is the first to notice something is wrong — he sees a mysterious glow behind the porthole. Soon, the plane goes off course, loses contact with the ground, and the appearance of mysterious creatures turns an ordinary flight into a struggle for survival.
"Legends of the forest", 6+
Directed by Vincent Munier. Starring: Michel Munier, Simon Munier, Vincent Munier

The painting by French photographer and director Vincent Munier has already been awarded two Cesar Awards — for best documentary and best sound, and also won the Lumiere Award for Best music.
The film focuses on Vincent Munier's journey through the Vosges forests with his father and son. The heroes hope to meet red deer, wild forest cats, elusive grouse, nimble ermines and other inhabitants of these places. For the director, the work became a declaration of love for nature and at the same time a kind of dedication to his father, who has been engaged in preserving the natural heritage for many years.
The main advantage of the painting is the impressive landscapes and the opportunity to observe the life of wild animals in their natural environment. But "Legends of the Forest" tells not only about nature: traveling together becomes an occasion for three generations of the family to get to know each other better and spend time away from the usual hustle and bustle.
Bride's Ticket Office, 16+
Directed by Ruslan Baltzer. Starring: Alexey Vorobyov, Anna Bogomolova, Roman Mayakin, Snezhana Samokhina, Egor Druzhinin

A fantasy romcom invites the viewer to travel through time. The events of the film begin in 2033. Heartthrob Lavrik, played by Alexei Vorobyov, loses his usual earnings after the advent of an ultra-modern lie detector. Soon, the trillionaire Boltzmann appears on his way, who suggests that the hero go to 1913 for a mysterious artifact — the Hymen cup. In exchange for a dangerous mission, the rich man promises to solve all Lavrik's problems. Once in the past, the hero habitually relies on his charm and talent as an adventurer, but events do not begin to develop according to plan.
"Bride's Box Office" combines fantasy, romantic comedy and adventure story. Alexey Vorobyov's character goes from a charming conman to a man who has to rethink his own views on love and relationships. By contrasting the eras, the film shows what really changes with time and what remains unchanged.
