In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a verdict was passed against a 34-year-old woman who was found guilty of fraud against 31.4 million people. The defendant deceived seven people under the pretext of investing in the supply of medical equipment.

According to the KamchatkaMedia news agency, the con artist presented herself as a successful entrepreneur and convinced the victims that she was supplying equipment to institutions in the region. She allegedly told citizens about participating in auctions and offered to receive income from investments. It was established that no deliveries were made. The woman spent the funds received from the victims at her discretion.

The damage was done in 2021 and 2022. The court granted the civil claims of the victims. The defendant was sentenced to four years in prison to serve her sentence in a general regime colony.

In Magadan, the director of one of the cafes suffered as a result of fraud with the purchase of sugar. The victim lost 430 thousand rubles.
