The case was opened on the fact of a drunken accident with four dead in Kamensk-Uralsky.

A criminal case has been opened in the Sverdlovsk region over a drunken road accident in Kamensk-Uralsky, which killed the driver and three passengers of a VAZ car. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

The accident occurred on the night of July 2 on Lermontov Street. According to preliminary data from the State Traffic Inspectorate, the Infinity driver did not give way to the oncoming VAZ-2110 and began to perform a U-turn.

As a result of the collision, the driver and three passengers of the domestic car received life-threatening injuries. All four died on the spot, writes the news agency " <url>".

"The result of the examination [of the Infinity driver] showed the presence of ethyl alcohol vapors in the exhaled air at a concentration of 0.612 mg/l, which exceeds the permissible norm," the Sverdlovsk traffic police said in a statement.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident, paragraph "a" of Part 6 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Violation of traffic rules by a person in a state of intoxication, which negligently caused the death of four people." All circumstances of the accident are being established.

That same night, at an intersection in Surgut, a Lada Priora driven by an 18-year-old boy crashed into a Toyota driven by a 36-year-old man. Both motorists died on the spot, and passengers of the domestic car were seriously injured in the accident.
