Belarusian citizens were evacuated to the Gomel region after a new strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus carrying citizens of the republic in the Bryansk region. This was announced on July 2 by the acting governor of the Russian region, Egor Kovalchuk.

"The citizens of Belarus have been transported to the Gomel region," he wrote on his channel in the Maks messenger.
