The State Duma proposed measures to reduce queues at gas stations
Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, held a meeting with the automotive expert community to discuss the fuel situation. Based on its results, a number of proposals were formed, they will be sent to the Russian Ministry of Energy, the parliamentarian said in his Telegram channel on July 2.
To reduce queues at gas stations, it is proposed to separate the flows of cars at stations for refueling with gasoline and diesel separately. It is also necessary to use remote diesel truck refueling stations, including mobile ones, which will be equipped with replaceable pistols or special nozzles for use by passenger cars, at the maximum possible level.
In addition, it is proposed to optimize and speed up the registration procedure for gas cylinder equipment as much as possible, using the experience of countries where transport is being massively converted to environmentally friendly and economical fuels. And expand the network of gas filling stations across the country not only using compressed natural gas, but also with liquefied petroleum gas, which is more attractive for private investment, Nilov wrote.
The day before, the Russian Ministry of Energy said that Internet resources that publish information about the availability of fuel at gas stations may pose a threat due to the possible illegal collection of personal data and the dissemination of false information.
