A civilian was killed and four others were injured as a result of a night attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was announced on July 2 by the head of the region Gleb Nikitin.

"Falling debris caused non-critical damage to one industrial facility and several residential buildings. It is with pain in my heart that I must inform you about the death of one civilian," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, prompt medical assistance is being provided to the victims. One of them was hospitalized.

Currently, emergency services specialists are continuing to work at the incident sites, and a survey of the territories is also underway. In addition, the work of air defense continues.
