Western states are still striving to inflict a strategic defeat on the Russian side — the world is approaching a real conflict between the West and the Russian Federation. This was announced on June 30 by former Lieutenant Colonel of the American army Daniel Davis.

"The West is still striving to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, <...> and we are approaching a real conflict between the West and Russia directly, without a proxy," he said on his YouTube channel.

The expert stressed that the Russian Federation has managed to significantly strengthen its military-industrial potential. At the same time, Western countries have reduced their military reserves in recent years and accumulated huge government debts.

Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, said on the same day that more and more states were being drawn into the conflict on the side of Ukraine against Russia. On the same day, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that now the West is actually at war with Russia because of the participation of foreign mercenaries in the Ukrainian conflict.
