A bear trapped in Vladivostok was released into the taiga
A Himalayan bear that swam to Vladivostok was released into the taiga after a rest. This was announced on July 2 by the press service of the Primorsky Krai government.
"After a marathon swim through the waters of the Amur Bay and subsequent rest under the supervision of veterinarians, the bear returned to the taiga," the message in the Maks messenger says.
The day before, a Himalayan bear that swam to Vladivostok was captured and sent for examination. The animal, according to preliminary data, is about three years old.
