Four people were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Kursk region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the border town of Rylsk in the Kursk region, injuring four people. This was announced on July 1 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.

"The 52-year-old and 48-year-old men have a mine explosion injury, blind shrapnel wounds. One of them is also a police officer. Another victim is an employee of public utilities," the message says in the Maks messenger.

In addition, a 45-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman were injured in a repeated attack by Ukrainian militants. Both were diagnosed with blind shrapnel wounds.

According to the governor, the men refused to be hospitalized, and the woman will be taken to a medical facility in Kursk.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.

On July 1, Oleg Melnichenko, Governor of the Penza Region, announced that two people had been injured in a drone attack on enterprises in Penza. According to him, one woman was treated on an outpatient basis, she has already been released home. The man received severe shrapnel wounds. His condition is assessed as serious.
