Matvienko proposed to introduce a moratorium on the law on public procurement

Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko proposed to introduce a moratorium on the federal law on the contract system in the field of public procurement. The speaker stated this on July 1 during a plenary session, which was broadcast on the department's website.

According to Matvienko, this measure will allow the regions to use budget funds more quickly in the current conditions. She also suggested extending the moratorium to the period until the end of the special military operation.
