A new art school building will open in TiNAO on September 1.
On September 1, a new building of the Moskovsky Children's Art School will open in the Filimonkovsky district of the Troitskiy and Novomoskovsky administrative districts (TiNAO). This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in the Maks messenger, noting that the development of TiNAO continues due to investments from the city and business.
The new building of the art school is located on Nikitina Street, previously the institution was located in school No. 2065. After the move, the DSHI will be able to use almost seven times more space. Attendance is expected to grow almost fivefold: more than 3,000 people will be able to stay in the building at the same time.
The complex has been equipped with 50 classrooms, an exhibition space, a recording studio, a library, small and large concert halls, which residents of the district will be able to visit. Additional sound insulation solutions have been applied to reduce the noise level between rooms in the building.
According to the mayor, over the past 14 years, Troitskiy and Novomoskovsky districts have become one of the drivers of the capital's development. Tens of millions of square meters of real estate have been built in TiNAO, a modern transport framework with metro lines and stations has been created, and major projects in the field of high-tech industry are being implemented, Sobyanin recalled.
"Thanks to high—quality urban infrastructure, new jobs, and good ecology, citizens are increasingly choosing TiNAO for life," the mayor wrote. According to his estimates, the population of the districts has almost quadrupled in 14 years.
