Scientists have recorded three strong solar flares
There were three Class M flares in the Sun at once. This was announced on July 1 on the website of the Institute of Applied Geophysics.
It is noted that the first outbreak of M1.2 was recorded at 09:27 Moscow time and lasted about 11 minutes. Also at 09:43, another M1.0 flash lasting 10 minutes was recorded.
Later, at 10:35 Moscow time, an M1.6 flare occurred in the same group of sunspots 4479 (N19W23), which also lasted 10 minutes. In addition, a magnetic storm is currently underway.
On the same day, the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that an X-level flare had occurred on the Sun.
