Karapetyan announced the secret plan of the Armenian opposition to oust Pashinyan

The Armenian opposition has a "secret plan" to overthrow Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, but it is still following the legal path of challenging the election results. This was stated on June 30 by the head of the Strong Armenia bloc, Samvel Karapetyan.

"We have a secret plan that I won't reveal. We will choose the path to overthrow [Nikol] Pashinyan as soon as possible. If necessary, street traffic will also be mobilized. But now we are following the legal path," News Armenia quoted him as saying.

Karapetyan said that the opposition is now awaiting consideration by the Constitutional Court of Armenia of lawsuits from leaders of opposition parties due to numerous violations committed during the elections. The leader of Strong Armenia said that if he is not satisfied with the results of the trial, he may decide to go out to street protests with his like-minded people.

Seven parties are demanding that the results of the June 7 vote be annulled.

On June 22, the Constitutional Court of Armenia accepted proceedings on the statements of a number of alliances and parties: "Strong Armenia", "Wings of Unity", "Democracy, Law, Discipline", "Prosperous Armenia", "Union of Defenders of Democracy for the Republic", "Armenia" and "New Force". The opposition complains about numerous violations committed during the voting.

Following the results of the last elections, three political parties entered the Armenian parliament: the Civil Contract Party: 49.7456% (726,819 votes), the Strong Armenia bloc: 23.271% (340,060 votes), the Armenia bloc: 9.923% (144,983 votes). It is specified that a total of 1,476,769 people, or 58.9% of the population, took part in the voting. The "Civil Contract" was given the opportunity to single-handedly form a new government.
