Tsaritsyno Summer Cottage Tsaritsyno–2026 Festival to be held in Tsaritsyno Park

The Tsaritsyno Summer Cottage Festival will be held for the eighth time in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve in the Green Stalls from July 10 to 19. The program includes jazz and symphony concerts, a musical in the rap genre, an outdoor theater about pizza, a tale about the "Russian trickster", as well as a board game zone and creative workshops. Admission to the festival is free.

The theme of this year's Dacha Tsaritsyn is "Neighbors". The museum expands the boundaries of the concept of good neighborliness and at the same time supports the idea of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and respect for nature and the people around.

In just ten days of the festival, Tsaritsyn will host more than 150 events. Every morning will start with charging, which is most convenient to do together — with a child or a partner. Immediately after it, there are children's performances at noon. From Friday to Sunday, children's concerts will begin immediately after the performances. Performances for family viewing will run strictly from Friday to Sunday, starting at 18:00. Several interactive performances off the stage, such as the pantomime "Andryushka—Petrushka" by Andrey Kislitsin or the Voronezh promenade performance "Everything is like People", can be seen between regular performances on the festival stage. And every day at 20:00 there are concerts by famous musicians, including jazz singer Mariam Merabova, legends of the Moscow underground Pavel Khotin (played keyboards in the group "Sounds of Mu") and Sergei Parokhodov (known in the capital's poetic circles under the pseudonym Mr. Litvinovich), the Camerata Komitas ensemble, whose repertoire includes European Baroque The Colombian band Marimbea All Stars, whose musicians easily manage with percussion alone, also spits with Soviet classics.

By the opening of the "Dachny Tsaritsyn", art objects created by artists Vera and Oleg Gorbushin will appear in the Green Stalls (you can interact with the objects). And in the clearing next to the stage, a photo exhibition "My Neighbor is an Oddball" will open, dedicated to homemade sculptures decorating front gardens in towns and villages across the country. Lectures on art and psychology are planned in a large tent. In the clearing, children will be offered to play giant jenga, twister and other outdoor games. And for anyone who itches, in addition to classes in two workshops that will be open all day long, creative laboratories dedicated to street art and circus art will be opened.

Denis Gavrilin, the invited curator of the festival, the winner of the ARCHIWOOD award, created a new ergonomics of the festival: he turned the Green Stalls into a cozy courtyard where everyone finds something to do and lives the best day of summer.

Dachnoe Tsaritsyno is a large summer festival aimed at reviving the traditions of intellectual country recreation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Open—air theater, playing music on the veranda, outdoor games with children and creative activities together - all this was once part of a summer vacation and after a hundred years it becomes a habit again, as everyone can see by coming to Dachnoe Tsaritsyno," he noted.
