The housing and utilities sector has become a leader in the growth of applicants' interest in 2026. Tourism, the restaurant business, manufacturing, raw materials and agriculture are also among the most sought-after areas. This is evidenced by the data from a study conducted by Avito Rabota experts, which was reviewed by Izvestia.

As noted in the study, the highest growth in the activity of applicants was recorded in the field of housing and communal services and operation. In January – May, the number of resumes increased by 138%, and the average salary expectations of candidates reached 74,277 rubles/month.

The second position was taken by the tourism and restaurant sector, where the number of resumes increased by 88%. At the same time, the average salary expectations of applicants amounted to 63,911 rubles/month. A similar increase of 88% was demonstrated by the sphere of production, raw materials and agriculture. In this segment, candidates expect an average salary of 90,921 rubles/month.

High interest in these areas is associated with a steady demand for specialists and a large number of open vacancies. In the current economic conditions, these industries are becoming the most attractive for those who are looking for a new job.

According to Avito Rabota, employers in these areas also offer competitive pay levels. Thus, the average salary offered in housing and communal services and urban infrastructure is 80,366 rubles/month, which is 11% higher than last year.

In the hotel business and tourism, employers offer an average of 82,374 rubles/month, which corresponds to an increase of 5% per year. In agriculture, the average level of salaries offered reached 79,010 rubles/month, an increase of 7%.

However, the study highlights that the actual income level depends on a number of factors. The salary may be influenced by the region of employment, the format of employment, the number of shifts worked, the experience and qualifications of a specialist. Therefore, the average values given reflect the general situation in the industry and may differ from the conditions for individual vacancies and regions.
