Swimming on Tatyshev Island banned in Krasnoyarsk
In Krasnoyarsk, swimming was officially banned at three water bodies on Tatyshev Island. This decision was made after monitoring the water quality by employees of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
As specified in the department, we are talking about Lake Zerkalnoye, Strelka Bay and the reservoir near the Oktyabrsky Bridge. Studies have shown that the water in these places does not meet microbiological standards and is dangerous to health.
Further control over the state of the water was entrusted to the company operating the reservoirs. They will be allowed to swim in them only after the laboratory tests have improved, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations explained the difference between a swimming beach and a recreation area by the water. At the same time, the ministry recalled that swimming is allowed only in places prepared for this purpose.
