Excess soot levels in the air were detected in Slavyansk-on-Kuban after a fire at an oil refinery

In Slavyansk-on-Kuban, after a fire at an oil refinery, an excess of the permissible level of soot in the air was recorded. This was reported on June 29 in the Unified Duty and Dispatch Service (EDDS) of the Slavyansky district.

"In the area of the Zarya SNT, specialists recorded an excess of the permissible level of soot content in the atmospheric air," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

At the same time, according to the EDDS data, no excess concentrations of pollutants were detected at most control points in the area.

It was later clarified that firefighters were able to halve the area of the fire that occurred on the territory of the refinery.
