Hungary has suspended the acceptance of visa applications in three Russian cities
Hungary has temporarily suspended the acceptance of visa applications at visa application centers in three Russian cities. This was announced by VFS Global on June 29.
"The acceptance of documents for a visa to Hungary in the visa centers of Kazan, Samara and Ufa is suspended," the statement on the website says.
As explained in the company, the decision was made on the instructions of the Hungarian Consulate General in Kazan and comes into force on June 29. It will be known later when the work of the visa centers will resume.
On June 25, the Italian Visa Application Center notified Russian citizens about an increase in the processing time for documents. Due to the changes, applicants were advised to submit their documents no later than three months before the planned trip.
