An internal check is being carried out at the Vimpel-Storm tent camp in the Zapadnodvinsky district of the Tver region after the children are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department. This was announced to Izvestia on June 29 by the project manager Andrey Begmuradov.

"This is an imported infection. Most likely, it was brought by one of the inspectors. <...> It happened on the 10th day of the shift — none of the children had been ill before. We are currently analyzing and conducting an internal audit," he explained.

Begmuradov noted that the camp management promptly took all necessary measures — the victims were sent to the hospital, and the remaining students were taken home the next morning.

On that day, the Prosecutor's office of the Tver region reported that more than 10 children from the Vimpel-Storm tent camp were hospitalized with a viral infection. It was noted that the agency will establish the circumstances of the incident, as well as assess compliance with legislation on the protection of life and health of children.
