The Tagansky court of Moscow fined Singapore technology company Likee 3.5 million rubles. This was reported on June 29 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
The company was found guilty of failing to fulfill its obligation to monitor the social network and take measures to restrict access to information in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation (Part 2 of Article 13.50 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).
Under this article, legal entities face a fine of 800,000 to 4 million rubles.
On May 12, the court imposed administrative fines of 3.8 million rubles on the Telegram messenger. The company was found guilty of late deletion of information in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation.
