There are many countries in the European Union (EU) that oppose Brussels' policy of further pressure on Russia. This was announced on June 29 by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.

"There are probably many countries in the European Union that will oppose further pressure on Russia," he was quoted as saying in the Financial Times.

Tsakhkna explained that a number of countries advocate maintaining the EU's neutrality towards Russia. According to such leaders, if the association seeks to participate in negotiations on Ukraine, then it should not take sides, but be truly neutral.
