In Stavropol, a man was sold for four boxes of sausage
In Stavropol, a woman was convicted who, being a member of an organized criminal group (OCG), sold a man she was holding captive for four boxes of sausage. This was reported on June 29 on the website of the press service of the Leninsky District Court in Stavropol.
"Having considered the investigator's petition, having examined the submitted materials, the court chose a preventive measure for the accused in the form of detention for a period of two months. The court's ruling has not entered into force," the statement said.
It is noted that the malefactor took advantage of the difficult life circumstances of the prisoner, who had lost his social connections and was in a drunken state. The victim was kept in a private house, where he was forced to perform physical labor.
Currently, a woman is charged with Part 3 of Article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("The purchase and sale of a person committed for the purpose of exploitation, with the threat of violence") for committing a crime.
On June 13, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan reported the arrest of a 21-year-old man who stabbed a 14-year-old boy for a bag of groceries. The young man attacked the deceased as he was leaving the store.
Subsequently, the mother of the murdered man, Elvira Zagitova, told Izvestia that she was well acquainted with the attacker's mother, who apologized for the offense committed by her child.
