The Eiffel Tower spire in Paris was struck by lightning. This was reported on June 28 by the BFMTV channel.

"An incredibly bright lightning bolt struck the Eiffel Tower in Paris," the article says.

It is specified that on June 27, thunderstorms broke out in some areas of France. The French Observatory for monitoring tornadoes and severe thunderstorms recorded more than 13,000 lightning strikes across the country. In addition, a gust of wind with a speed of 104.8 km/h was recorded at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
