Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) cut the fingers of captured Russian servicemen and burned tridents on their faces. Roman Vanin, a resident of the Kursk region, who was returned from Ukrainian captivity, told about this on July 29.

"They cut my fingers with bait, and burned a trident on my forehead," he told RIA Novosti.

Vanin said that he himself had been bullied. So, the Ukrainian soldiers burned the letter "Z" on his right hand.
