In Britain, it was predicted that the military age in Ukraine would be lowered to 18 years

The Ukrainian authorities will be forced to lower the military age to 18 due to the difficult situation at the front. This was announced on June 27 by British analyst Alexander Mercuris.

"As far as I understand, there is increasing talk in Ukraine about lowering the draft age to 18. <...> They are obliged to do this because of the critical shortage of soldiers," the expert warned on his YouTube channel.

Mercuris noted that the scale of the problem with replenishing the losses of personnel has already begun to be recognized in the Western media. According to the analyst, there is a growing understanding within Ukraine that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Kiev to resist Russia.

Ukrainian online newspaper "Strana.ua" reported on June 24 that soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being beaten and humiliated in training camps, where the forcibly mobilized are sent. It was noted that most of those forcibly mobilized were actually unfit for military service.
