- The stormtroopers told the details of the liberation of the settlement of Novoskelevatoe
The liberation of the settlement of Novoskelevatoe in the Dnipropetrovsk region helped the Russian military gain a foothold on the western bank of the Gaichur River and disrupt the stability of the enemy's defenses. On June 29, soldiers of the 36th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces told about this.
Trying to hold their ground, Ukrainian soldiers occupied almost every building in the village. During the sweep of the buildings, Russian stormtroopers first examined the basements, and then dispersed and occupied the house.
"We're throwing grenades. We also work in twos: one covers the outside of the basement, one goes into the basement, cleans it. They open fire on any movement," said a stormtrooper with the call sign Shir.
The stormtroopers entered the village in small groups, after which they began to clear the buildings one by one. Unmanned aerial vehicles helped to detect the enemy from the air.
The "bird" always leads us anyway. It tells you where to be more careful, where the enemy is, where to move faster," said the group commander with the call sign Icon.
Russian military personnel took control of the settlement of Novoskelevatoe on June 27. According to the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian militants were also defeated in the areas of Novosoloshino, Egorovka, Babasha, Lyubitsky, Nikolsky and Lesnoy in the Zaporizhia region. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 350 militants, three armored combat vehicles, a field artillery piece, and ten vehicles.
