Putin instructed to observe seasonal fuel supply schedules for agricultural enterprises

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to make every effort to comply with fuel supply schedules for enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. He stated this on June 28 at a meeting on providing fuel to the domestic market.

The President noted that Russia's harvest would depend on this.

"Every effort must be made to ensure that seasonal fuel supply schedules are certainly followed for the agro-industrial complex. The harvest depends on it," he said.

Discussion of the ban on the export of diesel fuel

On the same day, the head of state noted that the Russian Federation was considering the possibility of a complete ban on the export of diesel fuel. Putin noted that all issues that will arise at the moment of discussion will be discussed in detail to prevent all unnecessary situations.

"In addition, a complete ban on the export of gasoline and jet fuel has been temporarily introduced in the interests of domestic consumers. The need to introduce a complete ban on the export of diesel fuel is being considered," he said.

Dynamics of fuel production in the Russian Federation

As Putin said at the same time, fuel production should exceed the June figures as early as July. According to him, previously accumulated fuel reserves have entered the domestic Russian market. At the same time, as the head of state noted, despite the use of reserves, gasoline reserves practically correspond to the level of the same period last year — 1.7 million tons.

"Nevertheless, it is known that the capacities of the largest oil refineries are being used to the maximum, the potential of medium—sized and small enterprises is being used, the terms of current repairs have also been shortened, and planned ones have been postponed to later periods," the Russian leader added.
