American leader Donald Trump said on June 28 that in the event of further escalation from Iran, the United States could take harsh measures, including the destruction of the country.

"There may come a time when we can no longer be reasonable... If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

In his statement, he also stressed that the United States would respond to any actions by Iran.
