A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The western group of troops has taken more advantageous positions and frontiers. Ukrainian formations in the Kharkiv region and the DPR were defeated. In Krasny Liman, the assault groups continued to move forward and captured 57 buildings and five strongholds during the day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 220 militants, a Turkish-made Kirpi armored car, 17 vehicles, two field artillery guns and three electronic warfare stations.

The military personnel of the southern group of forces improved their tactical position and hit the enemy in the areas of the DPR settlements. In Konstantinovka, Russian units are actively attacking in all directions, 70 buildings were liberated during the day. The enemy lost over 200 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, 18 vehicles, three field artillery guns and an electronic warfare station.

Units of the Center group of forces improved their position along the front line, and also hit Ukrainian formations in the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to over 305 people, an armored personnel carrier "Bucephalus", seven armored combat vehicles, four vehicles, two field artillery guns and two electronic warfare stations.

The Vostok group of troops continued to move into the depth of the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlement of Novoskelevatoe in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukrainian Armed Forces units were defeated in a number of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. The enemy lost over 350 fighters, three armored combat vehicles, ten vehicles and a field artillery piece.

Fighters of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the Armed Forces brigades in areas of populated areas of the Zaporizhia region. Up to 60 people, 11 vehicles and two electronic warfare stations were destroyed.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated fuel, energy and transport infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fuel depots, places of preparation for the launch of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 148 areas.

16 guided aerial bombs, three Flamingo long-range cruise missiles and 511 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 170160 unmanned aerial vehicles, 663 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29934 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1749 multiple rocket launchers, 35530 field artillery and mortars, 65010 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
