Putin instructed to ensure access to circuses on the Pushkin Map by September 1
Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to ensure the participation of state circus organizations in the Pushkin Map program. This became known on June 26 following a meeting of the Presidential Council for Culture.
"To the Government of the Russian Federation: taking into account the previously given instructions, ensure the participation of state circuses in the Pushkin Map program. The deadline is September 1, 2026," reads a statement on the Kremlin's website.
Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, was appointed responsible for the task. The Pushkin Card program allows young people between the ages of 14 and 22 to attend cultural institutions at the expense of the federal budget.
On May 12, Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova announced that almost 140 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the Pushkin Map program in 2025-2030. According to her, since the launch of the project, about 12.5 thousand cultural institutions across the country have joined the program.
