In the Zavodsky district of Saratov, a woman for several years did not let her underage daughter out of the house and forbade her to contact the outside world, taking away her means of communication. This was announced on June 26 by a source of Izvestia.

"She doesn't go to school and her mother won't let her out of the house, behaves inappropriately, took away her phone, forbids her to communicate with peers," the source said, referring to the girl's words.

Back in March of this year, the child was able to find a way to contact the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Saratov region, Yulia Vasilyeva. The girl wrote her an e-mail. An inspection began, according to the results of which the family was registered. At the same time, upon initiation of a criminal case on the fact of the incident, a refusal was received.

Investigators are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. The child was released, the girl will get a passport and will be sent to school. The Izvestia source clarified that before moving to Saratov, the family lived in Maikop, where the child graduated from elementary school.

In the winter of this year, a woman who joined the totalitarian sect "Russian Orthodox Church — Tsarist Empire" stole two of her daughters from her ex-husband, who, under her influence, decided to give up documents and bank cards. The sisters, who were taken out of St. Petersburg, recorded a video message in which they spoke about their alleged beliefs. In the footage, they were wearing headscarves and long skirts.

Later, their father, Alexander, told Izvestia that his ex-wife had been deprived of her parental rights. According to the man, only 11-year-old Irina was rescued, and Marina, an adult, chose to stay with her mother. Now the rescued girl is already socializing thanks to her work with psychologists.
