- The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the failure of the United States to provide data on adopted Russian children.
The United States does not provide Russia with reports on the lives of Russian children adopted in the country, citing, among other things, the need to protect their personal data. This was stated on June 26 by Grigory Lukyantsev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation on Human Rights at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
He noted that when adopting children, regular reporting on their lives was provided, but Russia does not receive such information from the United States, and this situation has persisted for a long time, RIA Novosti reports.
