Russia has supported Belarus' initiative to hold an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council due to a deliberate strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens. This was stated on June 26 by Acting Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Anna Evstigneeva.
"Russia has supported Belarus' request to convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the deliberate attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a bus carrying civilians — Belarusian citizens, including children," TASS quoted her as saying.
