In 12 regions of Russia, the average pension exceeded 30 thousand rubles.

Over the past two years, the number of Russian regions where the average pension payment exceeded 30,000 rubles has more than doubled. This became known from statistical data on June 26.

According to the Social Fund of Russia, in May 2024, a similar level of payments was recorded only in five regions of the country: in the Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrugs, Kamchatka, the Magadan Region and Chukotka, TASS reports.

After a two-year period, seven more regions of the Russian Federation joined the list. The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Republics of Karelia, Komi and Yakutia, as well as the Murmansk, Sakhalin and Arkhangelsk regions joined the list of territories with an average pension above 30 thousand rubles.

At the same time, as of May 2026, the all-Russian indicator of the average pension size was fixed at around 25,399 rubles.
