The UK demanded a report on the death of a Crimean resident in a hospital

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded a report on the criminal case concerning the death of a girl due to improper medical care in the Republic of Crimea. This became known on June 25.

"In February of this year, the girl was hospitalized in the infectious diseases department of a medical institution with complaints of feeling unwell. According to the results of the examinations, despite the patient's serious condition, she was not transferred to the intensive care unit, and doctors did not take emergency measures to provide medical care. As a result, the girl died the next day. To date, no one has been held accountable," the information center of the Investigative Committee of Russia said in a message on the VKontakte social network.

Bastrykin instructed the head of the Main Investigative Department (GSO) of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Terentyev to provide a report on the investigative measures carried out and the circumstances identified, taking into account the arguments set out in the appeal.

Control over the execution of this order is carried out by the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

On June 20, the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported that Bastrykin demanded to report on the progress of the investigation into the armed attack at the West Mall shopping center in Krasnodar. The press service added that the progress of the criminal investigation was monitored at the central office of the Investigative Committee.
