The helicopter carrying Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog was forced to make an emergency landing at the Air Force base due to a collision with a bird. This was announced on June 25 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Telegram channel.
"Today, during a scheduled flight with the President of Israel aboard an Israel Defense Forces helicopter, the helicopter landed at the Israeli Air Force base in the center of the country after colliding with a bird," the statement said.
