- Russia has repeatedly warned the United States about the risks of military aid to Kiev.
Moscow regularly points out in its contacts with Washington that the transfer of military products to the Kiev regime may entail unpredictable consequences. This was stated on June 25 at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"In contacts with Washington, we have repeatedly noted that the transfer of military products to the Kiev regime may entail unpredictable consequences for regional and international security, and we emphasize that our country regards such convoys as a legitimate military target," the diplomat said.
Zakharova also commented on the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Voronezh, committed on June 22. She recommended focusing on official data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, including on the use of Western weapons systems by the enemy.
Yesterday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Ukraine would not have been able to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory without the direct help of the United Kingdom and the United States. According to him, Western countries not only refused to negotiate, but also did everything possible for Kiev to continue and increase terrorist activity.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on June 23 that he sees Washington moving away from Anchorage's basic understanding of Ukraine and moving closer to the anti-Russian policy of its allies in Europe. At the same time, Lavrov noted that the United States had probably decided to move away from objective mediation in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict and resumed the course of sanctions pressure on Russia.
