On June 25, Russian Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan presented the Order of Friendship to his colleague from Kyrgyzstan, Muscat Asanaliev, with whom he met at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF-2026).

"We value the trusting relationship that has developed between our departments. For our part, we are ready to solve any problems of mutual interest," he said.

Asanaliev was awarded the corresponding award for his great contribution to the development of cooperation between Moscow and Bishkek, as well as for strengthening the rule of law and the protection of citizens' rights in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The order awarding the Order of Friendship was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 12.

On April 23, Putin met with Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Japarov. Then he said that the states were and remain allies and strategic partners who are successfully implementing the agreements reached earlier. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added on the same day that the multifaceted cooperation between Moscow and Bishkek is mutually beneficial.
