Investigative and investigative measures were carried out at the Ukrainian KhNPP in the procurement case

Law enforcement officers are conducting investigative and investigative activities at the Khmelnitsky NPP (KhNPP) in Ukraine. This was announced on June 25 in the Telegram channel of Energoatom.

"According to the information available to the public, the investigative actions relate to certain procedures carried out in previous years. Energoatom provides full assistance to the work of law enforcement agencies," the company said.

Energoatom added that the investigative actions will not affect the operation of the nuclear facility and the KhNPP continues to generate electricity normally.

The plan is designed for two years, the amount of funding will be 210 million pounds.

On June 22, Ukrainska Pravda reported that the Ukrainian police suspected six people of organizing a corrupt scheme to seize budgetary funds allocated for the demining of agricultural lands.

The attackers simulated carrying out work on sites that had actually been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance back in 2023-2024. For credibility, they dug up the soil and planted ammunition.
