The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has revised the estimate of the magnitude of the earthquake in Venezuela, it has been raised to 7.5. This was stated on June 24 on the agency's website.
Initially, experts estimated the strength of the tremors at 7.1 points, but after clarifying the data, it turned out that two consecutive series of vibrations were recorded with a difference of one minute, with magnitudes of 7.1 and 7.5, respectively.
The Geological Survey clarified that the epicenters were located at a distance of about 10 km from each other in Yaracuy State.
