Simonyan predicted internal strife in Ukraine over ideology

Ukraine, after breaking off relations with the whole world on the basis of its misanthropic ideology, will begin internal strife, said Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the international media group Russia Today and the RT television channel. She made such a statement on June 24 during the St. Petersburg International Law Forum (SPIEF), where she moderated the session "Historical Amnesia of Europe."

"In the case of Ukraine, it's not just about Russophobia as such... They hate everyone in the world–and themselves too. When they finally fall out, they will fall out with the rest of the world, they will start gnawing at each other's throats, because a misogynistic ideology does not imply the possibility for a person to peacefully coexist with other people – otherwise it would not be misogynistic," Simonyan emphasized.
