A special fire protection regime has been introduced in Crimea since June 24. This decision was made due to the onset of heat.

According to the SevastopolMedia news agency, it is forbidden in the republic to build bonfires and carry out work with an open fire in forests and adjacent territories. Burning of dry grass and garbage is prohibited.

Owners of private houses and garden plots are advised to clean the territories of combustible waste and grass in a timely manner. It is forbidden to store containers with flammable liquids and gases in an open area.

Fines for violations of fire safety regulations reach 800 thousand rubles. The special regime will last until the fire situation improves.

A special fire protection regime was introduced in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District on June 19. It will be valid until the end of the summer.
