Drone operators from the SVO zone held a teleconference with Orenburg students

On June 24, Orenburg students had a teleconference conversation with the soldiers of the Center group of forces, who serve in the special military operation zone (SVO) in the unmanned systems forces.

UAV operators shared stories of their combat experience, as well as showed different types of drones. In addition, they explained why unmanned systems have become particularly important in the current combat environment.

"First of all, this is fire support for an attack aircraft. What is important to us? So that the stormtrooper could live, so that he could return home. And to do that, we need to increase and improve our fire support. And now an unmanned system is being developed," said Telman Uralbaev, Hero of Russia, representative of the Command of Unmanned Systems (BpS).

Many of the fighters signed the contract while they were still students. They decided to interrupt their studies, take a sabbatical and go to their home zone to devote themselves to serving the Motherland.

Pavel Babinetsky, a student at Bryansk State Technical University, a UAV operator of a separate battalion of the BPS of the North group of forces, spoke on June 4 about his decision to sign a contract and serve in the BPS. According to the soldier, even while studying at the university, he could not remain indifferent to the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on his native Bryansk region. The young man signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense without dropping out of university: he continued his studies by correspondence.
